penn state looks much better since joepa is on the sidelines. hopefully he will go to the nursing home and we can move on without him and his idiot son. what a difference in the team since he is not coaching it. Galen Hall is a great coach. |

Galen Hall is a great coach. Galen Hall is an excellent coach..............former head coach of the Florida Gators (as is Bob Stoops at Oklahoma)! He was 40-18-1 in his tenure and actually took the Gators to their 1st ever SEC Championship Title in 1984 (that was later stripped by the SEC due to NCAA violations by the fired Charley Pell whom Hall replaced. In 1985, Hall's Florida team would again finish with the best record in the SEC, but would not claim the conference title because of an NCAA probation. A subsequent NCAA infraction cost him his job and he was replaced by Steve Spurrier who was coaching Duke at the time. The game past joepa by a couple of years ago, just as it did Bobby Bowden at FSU. I think both of them are hanging on simply to try to outdo each other by holding the record for most games won...................what they are doing now is for them, not the game, not the school and certainly not for the kids they recruit and coach! And...........oh yeh...........GATORS.............#1 !!!!! |
