Can NOT win in the Rose bowlmistake.gif as a matter of fact Carr can not coach in bowl games...period.

Friggin' disappointing that this team" as usual "would have a mental break down in a bowl game...to me..that means

Coaching:X

It's all about coaching at these events IMHO and Carr has zero ability. How could Henne do anything when everytime he looked up there was a Trojan in his face. 5 sacks in the 1st half???? Frankly..USC plays a home game at the Rose bowl, but great teams win on the road.

Any other coach would have been gone by now:X

Beg to differ.....it is not just simply coaching....the whole team needs to want to play to win....(whereas it looks like, instead, they played not to lose.......ala Greg Norman against Nick Faldo in the 1996 Master's).....I am sure the coaching staff did not tell the team that this game was in the bag, but that's how they came out onto the field.  Also, it is not the coaching staff's fault the the UM QB could not throw a pass to save his ass.  It wasn't the coaching staff's fault that on USC's last TD drive, the QB laced 4 perfect passes into indifferent defenders..................the Wolverines lost this game through a total team effort....could the coaches have prepared them better?  Perhaps..... but these are, pretty much, big boys who know their ticket to the SHOW depends on there Bowl performance, and.................as a team, they were simply not up to the task.

Perhaps this is the difference between Big 10 football and Pac 10, SEC and others.  Big 10 is still stuck back in the day of size, while others have moved onto speed!

Now, considering that USC was ranked #8, who was it that told me the Gators didn't earn a chance at the title?.....one can only hope they are a little more up to the task than the Wolverines, whom, at this point, look like they got lucky against Ohio State!

Emotion vs Logic...........I watched the game....the coaches did not fail the players, the players failed the coaches!

That was a dissapointing game for Michigan fans ...... I agree with Ken on the players need to play , BUT Carr sucks the big one when coaching in big games

Maybe they can get a coach like Bret Belima.  Did you see the great Badger victory?
