Packaging counts, too. I don't really favor boxes that end up in the attic or waterproof hardcases. I just find it really redundant for a tough, tool diver's watch that can go down to 1,000 meters to be packaged in those hard shell cases. IMHO, it's even absurd.

What would be good would be a leather pouch, which is more mobile and more space-efficient at home or in the vault. Of course, external shipping packaging should be adequate.

Hope this helps;). I also hope you can put an advance post of your new creation. Many of us WIS might divert some of our funds for it if this early we know what it might look like.:)

+1...as long as the watch is good quality, I would take it wrapped in bubble wrap in a paper bag!

Hi,
i think everybody already has some packages at home....
sure its nice to have the watch with a nice package and i can sure do it.
but as like on the FUNFHUNDERT which i buy from german producer its realy expensive.

but i would realy like to make a REAL NICE price for KAZIMON owners.
why? i will support those customers who believed in the brand and i would like to see that they keep there KAZIMON watches instead selling them :-)
thats why i also ad time by time different bezels to help keeping same watch with different appearance, so customers can keep there watch and value.

A nice package adds to the initial impression of the buy, but for me, once it is tucked away in my closet, it only comes back out for a re-sale.

It seems that a quality display box of some sort has become a norm in higher grade watches, but in this situation, if you advise all upfront, and we know what to expect, in my case --- I would focus on the real target -- the watch watch2.gif

I agree very impressive at first then becomes something that takes up room:) though I also agree it may matter for resale as it seems many buyers inquire about boxes and all. So how about making it am extra for say $40-50? hand6.gif

offering this special is to force my customers to keep there KAZIMON.
sounds crazy but i am always getting sad seeing if any KAZIMON is on a salescorner, thinking the owner is not happy with it.

i am offering bezels which changes the appearance of a KAZIMON so people can keep there watch and having a new design for less than buying a new watch. and so keep the value of there KAZIMON.

going my own way is also looking for what makes the KAZIMON brand special.
i do limited watches.... like the NAUTILUS.
also the EINS, FUNFHUNDERT and EINTAUSEND will be limited.
not hundred of pieces floating arround.
but i dont say the number until i decide when it will discontinued.
so keeping the numbers low will for sure keep the value of the KAZIMON watches and will make them collectable.

KAZIMON will now produced directly with a team of people and not anymore due suppliers which already messing up there name.
the advance is time saving, product quality, unique pieces.

Now i can offer even at highest German Quality Standards the supply of parts and watches for other companys.

Thanks to everybody who supported me!

I was just thinking about when I buy a used watch, yes, I like packaging with it, but that's because I know it came with the packaging.  I think if a model was known to NOT come with any packaging, that would be OK too.  I mean after all, if no one has packaging for that model, and I want the watch, there is no reason not to get it.  But, if the watch came with packaging, and the one I am looking at didn't come with it, I might decide to wait for one that had it.

IMHO the package is not so important. Put it in a Pelicase (small version costs 30 Euro) and everything is fine.
best regards

I recently acquired a Nautilus and the original packaging is very impressive.  However, in my opinion packaging is not so important, it's the quality/ value of the watch that's important.
