Looks like my Debaufre Triton Orange will soon be getting a mate to sit next to it when not on the wrist. I decided to pull the trigger on this lovely Steinhart Triton Black. Really like the design on these. I'm liking this about as much as my Orsa Sea Anglers. ;)

Borrowed and enhanced pic from seller.

Very pretty Skip.  Is the Orange Triton a Steinhart as well?

Nice set buddy!. The Triton is so tempting. I am looking for DeBaufre to make us another 3T special and it will be tough to resist one of these... or one of the handcrankers. It speaks volumes to me you liked the Triton enough to get a pair. smile8.gif

Yea Mark I really like this Triton design. It just really speaks to me. So getting a 2ed when the opportunity jumped up was easy. ;)

It's a hard choice, but I think I like the black better...my problem with the Triton has always been the open "skeleton" hands...I love orange watches, but the hands look better against the darker background, IMO!

Nice pair of fraternal twins ya got there, Skippy! :dude:

Skipdawg,

I know it is like picking a favorite child, but which one of the two gets more wrist time?  I think I have one of these in the future, and was contemplating the organge, but the black is nice too.

This is a tough choice. I think I am going to pull the trigger on the black one. I really like the orange one too, but the new Orsa is going to be getting some wrist time, so black it is.

I just checked the Debaufre website.  No two for one special.  Crap.  Kidding of course.  That would be too cool.

Okay. Just pulled the trigger on the black one along with a brown leather strap. Hopefully it will be here for the Fourth of July!! Of course, I have been looking at this watch for several weeks and waited until the last minute to buy it...yourock.gif

Congrats kdsarch.  I ordered the black model as well but struggled with the choice.  They are both so attractive.

Yeah, it was a struggle. At first I really liked the Steinhart orange, then the Debaufre orange started to grow on me, then the black. So I went with the black. I too think any of them would be an excellent choice.

Nice Skip.  I just got the black one Debaufre Triton last Thursday. So far I am very happy with it.  I would say that it definitately exceeded my expectations.  This is the first time in  a long time I dont have the urge to go out and buy another watch.  That is rare.

Thanks much. ;) But no urge to buy a watch. I can't even imagine what that would feel like. Unless my mind was gone or something like that. I do loose my mind now and then but it always seems to find me again. But I think I am always wanting to buy myself a watch. Man have I had to develope some self control. LOL  :D
