took a bit from our friends to the North..but well worth it. This think is huge...solid build quality, PVD is just about perfect...I used a Sharpy to darken the Orange stitching for a stealthier look, which I like, but I think I need to go buy a paint stick for fabric to get it real black.

Another winner from Dievas...can't wait to get the Vortex:D

A few quick Camera_photos.gi's...........................................

I think you are right about the dial Gumba....the pvd seems to make it stand out more!...very cool...and no doubt that case & bezel are sweet! cool10.gifI have a pic here somewhere of the inside/movement and double o-ring/gasket caseback which again is very well made for a watch in this price range hand6.gif

Nothing wrong with the PVD. It's a very notable piece for any collection for sure. IMHO though, I think a dark watch, a PVD watch, will look smaller than a bright watch and since I love big watches, I opted for the SS version. It is still among the very few watch cases that amazes me because of its robustness and bulk. A great tool watch for sure. Here's an older post of my AL. I'm just waiting for the AL2.

Great looking watch. But doesn't the height bother you in everyday use?
I have one 16mm thick watch and sometimes it is unpractical...
Yours is 18mm thick.
But I would definitely wear it often, even if it would compromise my clothing

Rocky55, the height doesn't bother me at all. In fact, maybe I'm all alone on this, anything up to 20mm is wearable. Of course, if you are in long sleeved shirts and suits daily, it will be a different story. But for a guy like me who's out in the field almost daily, the AL is wrist candy!subtlelaugh.gif

I agree with Jeff, 16mm really is not that thick, the AquaLuna is an extremely comfortable watch to wear hand6.gif
