I like this look! I've been "testing" this sample since I ripped it out of the box.

Moray looks better and better !  When do they ship to the rest of us mortals ?

Also, please remind us the vintage (year) that inspired the MORAY ?  Late '60s or early '70s ?

cases similar to this have been made since the 50's from what I have seen online, but are still used by a few companies today with slightly different case lines and sizes.

very classic design

Steve, Looks great... Thanks for sharing. Can you throw some leather shoes on it for comparisons sake? I have a bunch of custom Panerai type straps and can't wait to have a fashion show...

Ralf, the rubber strap combo is unbeatable. No offense meant, reminds me lots of the Panerai Submersible series.

Don't stop posting pix of these wonderful creations. They're just awesome, amigo.hand6.gif

It's the same strap that came with the Sea Devil, so I suspect it's what will come with our Morays too.

Actually I think it was this vintage Alpha:

Yes, this rubber strap was shipped with my sample. I didn't get a leather strap, Ralf is still finalizing what those will look like.

Man, that black rubber combination with the black face pushed me over!  I just e-mailed Ralf to try and snag one of the last brushed/black face combos!  It said there were 3 left; I hope I got one!  Can't wait!

Revived since it's getting very close.  WOW, that's all I can say.   The strap combo is stellar!
