I've been eyeing the Moray for a while now and finally went for a blasted Dart-dial version at a pretty good price on WUS.  I wanted this combination because the dart dial looked really good to me and I thought the other dials looked too much like the Sea Devil, which I already own.  I also have a sweet ammo strap that has a blasted/Ti finish sewn-in buckle that I thought would work well with this watch.  The Moray came with the black bezel already installed.  I think the original bezel might work better, but I like it the way it is right now too.  What do you guys think of this combination?

The Moray is a pretty sweet watch, by the way.  It should see regular wrist time.

Great combo!!!   ThumbsUp02.gif

Looks just fantastic on that vintage strap!!

Love the dart dial Moray (I have a blasted one as well with the standard bezel)...it's one of my favorites!!!

Love that classic, vintage diver design,...quality is fantastic...don't know if many realize this, but the Moray has a fantastic "double-domed" sapphire crystal which IMO is rare in this price range (it's the reason you don't get dial distortions when looking through the crystal at high angles of incidence).hand6.gif

Thanks for sharing and enjoy!!

I was wondering about the lack of distortion from the domed crystal since all of my other watches with domed crystals have the distortion effect.  So this is superior to the non-double domed crystals huh?  Pretty cool!  Thanks for sharing that info!

Thanks for the compliments!  I bought that strap because I just had to have an ammo strap even though I didn't even really have the right watch to put it on at the time.  I'm glad that the Moray appears to be a good match.smile8.gif

That looks awesome, I've got a dart dial and love it.  The Moray's one of my favourites and a keeper for sure.

I found a knife that could do the bezel change so I gave it a shot and put the regular silver bezel on my Moray.  I think I just might like it a little more this way and will leave it on for a few days to see if I still feel that way.

The knicks on the case were there before I received the watch, so it wasn't me who's clumsy with the knife.subtlelaugh.gif

It's a tick over 5mm for the entire length.  It's a really beefy strap.  I love it!hearteyes.gif
