Hello Everyone, The Megalodon is coming! We are still on track for a late December or early January delivery. We have sent out an email to all the preorder customers but we have not heard from some of you and I fear the email may not have reached you because of the many email filters.

If you have preordered a Megalodon Series 1 and have not received an email from Steve requesting the final payment, please contact Steve to pay so that we can get it shipped to you as soon as they are ready.

If you need to cancel your order at this time, please let Steve know so we can get those watches to people waiting on the back up list. Thanks!

Contact Steve: sl@benarus.com

The Megalodon will ship this week to those who have paid. Those who are still waiting to pay, the watch will not ship this week.

Not everyone got an email about shipping, just in the EU, where taxes continue to be an issue.

So this means the watches will be shipping to those of us in the US who have paid right?

I've come to fear that the watch is going to be simply too big for my 6.5" wrist, but it's such a cool looking design.  I'm cautiously optimistic that it will work out for me.  I'm looking forward to seeing it.

GX9901, I would not worry about that.  I'm sure it will fit you well and if not, you should be able to flip it in no time.  Even if I think it would be sad to do so...

I have also relatively small wrist at ~7'' and it never bothered me to wear big watches up to 48mm.  Also if i'm not mistaken, the Megalodon has a 47mm case and the bezel is 49mm.  What I'm curious to see, is how tall it sits on the hand.  Looking on the case back, it reminds me the humongous case back of the CX12000 and I'm wondering how comfortable it will be, if we could only see a wrist shot!!!!!  crap.gif

I agree with Daniel, you should be just fine....my wrist is smaller than 7 inches and I have no worries at all...and as I have previously stated, a week after these start arriving a very common title in the FS threads will be..

Yeah, I have no worries about the ability to flip it.  Just a little worried that I would have to give up a cool looking watch due to its huge size.  I am pretty acustomed to wearing 42-46mm watches, so my fear is hopefully unfounded.  I do think I'll need to start working out to handle all that weight though.:P

Any ideas how the design variations breakdown for the 100 pieces....?  Such as: how many for PVD lume, PVD steel bezel, stainless case red minute, PVD case red minute...et cetera...

I might be wrong but my guess is it really depends how guys ordered them, I don't think there were a preset number of any configuration....I'm sure Steve or Ralf will chime in if I'm wrong

If that is the case (let's dream for a second), can you imagine how EXCLUSIVE this watch is; with no real set pattern of case/bezel/PVD design.  There may be only two PVD/red minute/lume bezel combinations in existence out of the WHOLE HUNDIE!

I'm sure you're right Nick. The Megalodom is sold out and we all chose our own configuration. Ralf or Steve would have to do a count and I'm sure that the info will be available at some point hand6.gif

Guys let's just get too jumpy and panic just before the finish line. Steve has stated that those who've already made final payment will get their watches this week. That's it. Let's not read between the lines when we don't need to. It's the final stretch boys and tracking number or no tracking number. I'm READY!!! snoopy1.gifanodie.gifboy10.gif

We must overreact immediately or we will never see the watches!!toon1.gif

Listen, emails went to those in the EU only, shipping is from the factory. They are coming and soon. Let's just leave it at that. If you're not home you miss it and pick it up the next day... big deal. You will live another 24 hours without the Meg. If you made full payment then you will get your watch soon enough.

Its all good and I want to thank Ralf and Steve for working to get these out for the holiday and in 2009. We all have been doing a great job of not spazzing out so let's keep it that way.thankyou.gif

Having said all that I now have to admit I can empathize and feel the rush coming on for this one. Something tells me the Meg owners will all have major dopamine releases any time now!!yourock.gif

You must have me mistaken for the guy on another forum who works for watches by writing detailed descriptions of them...;)

Teddy you are an old hand so you know well enough we need to remain calm or the floodgates of insanity will spill open puring a plethora a puzzling posts and repetitive questions. I don't wanna wade through that, and I want to give the guys props for attempting to get these out expediently.:dude:

Read the thread and you'll have the info. The next thing to do is to post a picture of the watch. And I still maintain this mug gonna be legendary!yourock.gif
