Morning all,

Nice to see I'm not the only lady here :P

I've been lurking on forums for a while, drooling over the lovely pieces you guys have and I thought I better come and say hello. I've been in to watches my whole life I think, always having a few around but never researching to the depth I am now.

I'm in the UK with a modestly budgeted small collection but mostly large "mens" watches. They are simply far more interesting. Currently wearing my newish SKX007J and dreaming about pushing a sexy vintage Toshi on it... mmmm...

Major wishlist includes a Panny - any ideas on similar styling at the cheaper end of the market would be appreciated.

Thanks for having me!
Nuph

Welcome Nuph,

Enjoy and participate often. Excellent choice the 007 a real classic. Search Panny homages on the forum, you should pull up a few threads.

Again glad to have you.

Tony

YESSS !!!!

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME !!!!  :D

Morning Nuph!

Thank You Thank You!!!thankyou.gif You made my day! snoopy1.gif

You are so incredibly awesome for coming out and posting your Intro! woohoo.gif  You are officially my new best friend, LOL! subtlelaugh.gif You have no idea how happy you made me this morning! anodie.gif

So as a woman, you too think that men's watches are far more interesting ... and you wear them! Whoa! Awesome! You are such an inspiration to me! And a Panny's on your wishlist ??? I wonder what your wrist size is? Mine is 6 inches. I have trouble wearing anything 38mm or larger. :(  I wonder if it would be possible to post a wrist shot of your 007, or any watch for that matter please ??

So you are in the UK. Very cool! I have a friend who lives just about 20 minutes outside of London. I wonder if you are anywhere near there ??

Anyway, a HUGE 3T welcome to you and hope to run into you around the forums. You have NO idea how happy we are to have you! WOO HOOOO !!!! yahoo.gif

snoopy1.gifWelcome aboard

If there are any more lady folk out there and are wanting to join in,  Whats the problem, I think our society has advanced enough in time to not be shocked by a woman liking watches.

Come Aboard

Huck

It's more like initially feeling outnumbered and maybe a bit intimidated ... but on behalf of all the women members, thanks so much for the kind invitation! ;) :)

Well hey!

Thanks so much for the lovely warm welcome guys, and a special hello to Alina (is this the bit where we burn our bras or something?!). I grew up in London but have lived around Birmingham for the last 10yrs. I've also been to Chicago by coincidence, great place.
I think it's true that there is hardly any obvious female presence on watch forums, and perhaps that's mostly due to girls watches being not so interesting to collect. Dunno.

As for my wrist, it's only about 6.5" but I seem to get away with a 40mm-ish watch without too much trouble. Not very girly in any way to be honest. I'll try and work out some pics soon.

I'm off to check out these PRS now!

Cheers all, Nuph.
