I heard about this forum and took a look around. Very nice place!

Actually, I see a lot of old friends here too, which is great.

To introduce myself, my name is George Fox. I'm the owner of NFW, a small watch company located in CT.

Looks like I'll now have another place to do some procrastination!  I look forward to participating.

All my best,

George

Thank you, Oscar!

I've been browsing thru some of the threads. Looks like a LOT of really nice watches here!  I see the guy with my favorite collection is here... Mr. Bill Bartlett.  He's got some of my favorites!

Best,

George

Thanks for the welcome, guys.  I only got a brief look around today but I really like the layout of this place.  Also seems to be a very friendly environment, which isn't the case on some forums.

So, I'm looking forward to hangin' out here, seeing some great watches, meeting new friends, and getting a good laugh now & then too!  I'll contribute wherever possible.

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

all my best,

George

Just so everyone knows, this is one of Georges designs.  I would like to get some of the other colors as well.  Love it!

Hi Steve - Your brother must be Tim!  We shipped his watch on Saturday morning. I hope he likes it!

Scottran - Thanks for posting the pic of your AutoPilot.  Looks like it matches your dog pretty well!

Thanks George!  Autopilot has landed. Absolute joy all around. Im going to start a thread in new arrivals.  I probably should have posted in this section of the forum a while back.  Been trying to learn and read too much first. Thanks again.

Glad to hear you like it, Tim!  That got there fast - you ordered it on Friday afternoon, we shipped it Saturday morning, and you received it on Monday.  Not too shabby if I do say so myself!

Blown away by the quickness. I tracked today thinking Wednesday would be about right for arrival. It got into the post office at 5am this morning. To the door around 11.

LOL - Hi Shawn!!!

What a small cyber-world, buddy!  You & I seem to keep running into each other lately!

Well, come on out to Connecticut sometime.  We'll grab some food, some drinks and have some good laughs. It's been almost 1.5 years since we've done a show together!

And nice to see you at 3T, Shawn. I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.:D

So silly question, where does one order an NFW. Is it strictly from the TV seller or can we buy direct? Forgive my ignorance, but your designs and reputation have certainly caught my attention!

Hi Paxman,

Since I'm fairly new here on 3T, you've probably already answered this question many times, but is that an old shot of Keith Richards in your avatar?  If so, great pic!

So, to answer your question, I only go on ShopNBC once or twice a year. Partly because we're a small company and we just don't produce enough volume for me to go there too often. And partly because I can't overdo the TV exposure since it tends to irk our brick & mortar dealers. Therefore, the rare ShopNBC appearances end up being more of a brand-building kinda thing for NFW, helping to get the name out there (although they do sell a boatload of watches whenever I go on...).  Plus, it's a fun thing to do for me personally.

Um, that didn't really answer your question.... Okay. I think ShopNBC is now sold out of their NFW stock.  We do have about 50 dealers across the U.S. (mostly jewelers, plus a few high-end men's clothing stores). Or, anyone is welcome to just buy direct from us, via me.

Feel free to contact me anytime for pics & pricing. We're working on a completely new NFW website (hopefully to be up & running in early May) that will have an online store to make it easier to buy from us.

My direct email is: gfox@NFWonline.com

And thanks for the kind words too....

All my best,

George
