Rocky is his name and he is 2yrs old, when we stand him up on his back legs, he stands 32" tall and he weights 20 pounds.  He is a Maine Coon and he was born in Alabama.  Every where we go he is there, he just hangs out with us, he loves my kids, he follows all of (kids)them around and I cannot figure out if he loves my wife or he is in love with her.  You can tell he really digs doing these pix's

My 4 babies Stalker, Gabi, Hali and Kali. Gabi will be 5 in May the other 3 will be 9 in June. Stalker is my boy. he acts like a puppy following me around all the time. Gabi is my greeter when I come home from being out even if for just a minute. She is a talker thus the name. Hali and Kali are sisters and don't pay me much attention. But I love them all. They are my babies. ;)

We have a new member to the family as of Tommorow-Sunday we pick him up.

For now here is a Substitue pic for him, until we get him and I snap some shots of him.

Cool cats fellas! Hucky, my buddy has a Viszla... that dog has a ton of energy. Well I'm down to two; one of each.

This is Hugo. He's 15 now but not yet a crotchety old guy. My daughter loves to lay all over him which was fine until she got a little bigger. No worries, he's got claws and can defend himself. This cat loves my son too. I tend to turn cats into dogs in terms of tempermant. My wife says this is the last cat we'll have. We'll see.

This is Tootsie. She's a two year old Black Lab. We got her 3 weeks after my Golden passed on. She's fantastic with the kids and is a sweet girl. I was interested in getting either a Portugese Water Dog or Giant Schnauzer, but with small children the lab was a safe choice.

I also have a pair of Leopard Geckos which are now about 12 years old and pretty good size. I used to keep south american cichlids but no longer have the time to maintain a decent tank.

Viszla's are great dogs...they are probably the friendliest breed in the world.  While they are part of the Weimereiner family, they are quite different and quite a bit smaller.  Fantastic animal!!! CONGRATS!

Me...I just rescue dogs from the local humane society.  My brother is the cat guy...

Well here is Mufassa my 9 month old bengal, I just love the colors and spots.  The fur on the bengal is like a wild animal pelt, it;s so soft.

Yes Pax, The Grey seems to be coming fast and hard in the last 4 months or so, I have noticed alot of changes in myself this year, its really scary.
Back pain, knee pain, ankle pain, shoulder injury again, I think its time to slow down on my training.

Cheers

Very interesting thread to see everyones pets. Pets add a great part to a family. My wife and I have cats. They are more independant and don't mind if we are gone during the day. here are Ruffy, Topaz and Pickle.

This is Amos.  I got Amos from a local animal shelter.  He was very thin but he is now very healthy and active and weighing a little over 100 lbs.  The shelter didn't know much about him but my Vet found some tatoos in his ears.  Because of this I did some digging on the 'net and found that he is a particular type of Foxhound known as a PennMaryDel foxhound.  The breed was created for foxhunting in the Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware areas.  The breeders were looking for a dog larger than the traditional American Foxhound to better traverse the wooded areas hunted in the Pennsylvania Maryland and Delaware area.  Due to a shortage of foxes alot of hunt clubs apparently use coyotes and his larger size is better suited to the coyote as well.  Much to my neighbors chagrine he is bred to be louder as well.  Thankfully he keeps his howling to a minimum and it's still makes me laugh.  I have never ridden a horse and have no intentions of ever foxhunting but Amos is a great pet.  He is gentle and tolerant of children and is friendly with other dogs.  I'm not sure how good of a watchdog he is because he is a typical lazy hound and likes to sleep but he is large and loud and would probably scare a would be watch thief or burglar away.
