New Jersey, thats almost exectly on the other side it must be around 9pm there with out the daylight saving... My folks live just up from there in Canada, New Brunswick and it's easy to make calls just switch the AM and PM |

Right now I'm still using a Media 100 system for basic video editing. It's getting pretty long in the tooth now but it still works and looks good and I'm proficient on it. I do all my compositing in Adobe After Effects, which is where I do 90% of my work. I'm going to learn Final Cut Pro here shortly and may transition over to that. Seems to be where everyone is going these days... |

When I was there, we hired a bunch of the M100 folks as it is (was) a local company as well. Agree in that it seems like Apple is virtually giving away final cut and (at least when I was there) it semed like that strategy was helping it eat away at Avid's market share. |

I have worked for Playboy for 20yrs I scheduled all the photo shoots for the centerfold layouts I am the guy that picks out all the locations where the shoot will be done and I have to be on location, when the shoot happens..yahoo.gif Oh I was day dreaming, sorry guys I really work for the Calif Dept of Corrections I have been a prison guard for 20 yrs. |

I believe they still own an engineering firm, a rigging firm, surveying...used to have a cartage company, asphalt plant, road contracting, auto dealership, dairy, etc. Of course, my father was a doctor...not much in the line of a business to inherit there!:D Went there a lot as a kid! My Grandfather was one of NY's original road paving contractors. |

Beautiful downtown Perth, Western Australia. Opposite side of Australia to Sydney. Beautiful beaches and more boats per capita than anywhere else in the world. We are in the middle of a mining-generated boom at the moment. We had a Miss World competition here once and of course, there was the yachting in the ocean off Fremantle (12 likometres South of here) when you guys lost the Anerica's Cup back in the 80's. It is OK - we then lost it immediately to New Zealand! Tax lawyer with four companies cooking as we speak - mainly security products like home alarms, a company that provides actuarial support to the financial planning community here in Australia, am the MD of a Financial Services group, and I am a director of a company which sells transportable homes to mining companies and government agencies here in Australia, too. Dated an Australian Playboy model. Once. Couldn't get the photos out of my mind... those airbrushers should be shot. Oh - I do know a guy whose wife made him a millionaire.
