Anybody own a Precista...either the Omega or Pammie hommages?  Give me your thoughts or if you own one please post.

No Precista for me... but I do have one of Eddie's Broadarrows. I don't think you need to doubt anything Eddie is putting out...

I don't own one, but everything I've heard leads me to believe the quality is topnotch.

I currently own about a half-dozen of Eddie Platt's Broadarrows and Precistas.  The only thing stopping me from getting both the PRS-14 (Omega Seamaster style) or PRS-20 "Italian" (Panerai style) is the incredibly bad dollar to pound exchange rate.  All the Time Factors watches are great values.  You can't go wrong with any of them.

The PRS-20 is a great value. I have 3 of his watches, including a PRS-2, and are are very good quality.

Lovely mil and diver watches, superb service, fast shipping and secure packaging. I have nothing but praise for Time Factors watches, although each has it's niggles. I've yet to meet the perfect watch. Some very interesting ones coming out soon too!

Nalu...great pictures!

Just received this from Eddie Platts on the reissue (or new) Precista PRS-5 withthe Seagull movement.

"The Precista PRS-5 has finally arrived .........- http://www.timefactors.com/precista.htm .   This is the second PRS-5 from Time Factors, the first one was marketed as a "Broadarrow" in 2003 but had to be discontinued due to the dispute with Omega over the use of the name "Broadarrow".

the difference between the LE and non is the packaging, straps and accessories and most of all the high end chronomter grade Unitas with swan neck regulator and all the goodies used in the LE versionyahoo.gif....see linkhand6.gif

I have the PRS-17C and it is a solid watch, love it!  It has the Lemania look without the pricetag:

I am waiting on the PRS-10 G10 homage, I can't wait til it comes out.

Cheers,
Griff

The PRS-5 is the descendant of the old Precista chrono (81 IIRC).

The Dreadnaught...  my gosh.. no matter how I try to convince myself that the others made in homage to it are better choices money-wise, some may even offer some improvements... but...  Everytime I see a picture of the Dread...  the others to me simply bow down in reverence......

Can you tell that I want one...

I am really with you. For me it is Dreadnought or none...However, I am not willing to pay the prices asked right now!

Looking forward to see the new Dreadnought from Eddie, whenever it will be produced...

all the best

Jan

I'm sure Eddie will make the Dread/GMT as planned but now may not be the right time with rising eta costs and the exchange ratehand6.gif  I would have jumped on a PRS-50 and a PRS-5 by now  if the exchange rate wasn't so flop-sided....coyote2.gif

I'm going to have to look in on the TZ sales forum more often in the mornings. Missed a PRS-50 yesterday. Those are so sweet.

I sure hope the US $ gets back to a power place in the global market. Or low income folks and fixed income folks are going to really be hurting bad. Already hard. Just blows my mind it has sunk so low. :( :?

I just happen to be wearing the PRS-20 LE today but on a different strap than in the picture. The new is all black and 26mm tapering to 24mm fills the lugs nicer.

Ron if you ever have the need to sell the ICON... that would be the Dread... let me know......

So even though I would likely say I don't have the funds..., I can at least say I was close to getting it!!!!
