Not yet... It is still pretty new and I can only find it on the Zodiac website for sale. I'll give it a couple of months and a buy it for a couple of hundred less. Hopefully I will be able to wait.

Cool Zodiac hand6.gif
I can't find any info about the chronograph on that model though, is it just a 60 second one?

Cheers,
Griff

Man I completely agree -- but it's so frustrating that their entire current lineup is quartz.  I really REALLY like some of their designs, but I just don't get the same satisfaction from quartz as I do from mechanical watches.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not bashing quartz -- it makes total sense for their pricepoint.  I just wish that the Oceanaire wasn't the last of the Zodiac autos.

Zodiac likes to use Ronda movements. I wonder if this isn't a variation of the Ronda 5010B Chrono. If it is, then the center second hand is for use with the chrono function and there are two hands in the subdial at the 6 position - one for minutes and one for hours. In the picture, you can't see them because they're at the zero position, one on top of the other. I say a variant, because the 5010B minute counter usually counts to 30 minutes, not 60 like in the picture. Just a thought...

YW Hawk yourock.gif

...the 5010-B is a pretty cool quartz chrono movement which is gilded and has 10 jewels....I have a watch using this movement from a few years ago and it works flawlessy....they also have a 3 subdial version of this Zodiac using the 5030 ronda/Startek for those wanting a more conventional chronohand6.gif

I found a beautiful Zodiac at the Fossil Outlet stores in orlando florida. Although it wasn't 50 mm, it was big and bad and for the money, I find them to be a grrrreat deal...

I recently found/purchased a Speed Dragon chrono-alarm at the Fossil outlet in New York. $99.00 plus an additional $10.00 for two extra links from Zodiac added up to a great deal!

Rgds,

Steve
