I'm in the bag for the Dievas Aqualuna, and I'm keeping a watchful eye on how the Benarus Moray/Remora/Tarpon turns out.  Now I just gotta figure out how to pay for it all!

Skipdawg's Seastar posted a while ago made me drool.....

I also NEED one of those Asian tourbillon's.  A friend got one off the Bay, and I am very impressed with the quality.  For about $500 you can get the real deal.

I have also ordered a TW Steel XXL auto in PVD gold on black leather...

And then..............subtlelaugh.gif

If I'm lucky...by weeks end may order one of these...not sure which..though leaning towards the Black Diamond. Though the AVP is so sleek and slick looking:?

I vote for the AGP Tony! I'm a fan of the wire lug stuff!
I had a chance to buy one of those and passed on it, still kicking myself!

As for me In the forum brand arena I've got a Kremke on the radar, I don't have a nice Fricker case yet and I love that bezel!

In the real watch arena I'm thinking about a new Breitling Steelfish or maybe a used Yellow dial Seawolf... Got the Breitling diver bug!

I should not have spent too much time here mistake.gif

Now I just got myself the new Longines Legends, which should be coming in about 4 weeks.  Man the wait is so long for this guy.

I also really like the new upcoming Serket Telson.  Will wait and see real life sample for this one.

Now I really need to figure out which one needs to go from my box :P

I have this Black Diamond AGV 6152 from Dievas and I am so happy with it. They came out with an all black, truly all black variant without the TiNite crown and without a TiNite caseback. Instead, the crown is black PAVCD and the same as the caseback.

Well that RGM 300 came out of no where and I had been eye balling one for quiet some time. :)

But at the moment I'm thinking I may set my sites on the next PRS-50 I see come up. But time shall tell. I can change my mind fast.

3 weeks ago I was targeting a Omega PO. :D

depends on if I can find a really heavy SS bracelet for my Hamilton Khaki ETO.
(Its lug size is 21mm, sigh).

A Debaufre Airforce Orange should be on my wrist in 2-4 weeks.  Debaufre tells me could be sooner if U.S. Customs doesn't cause a delay. hand6.gif

Then I need either a Debaufre Nav B or a Steinhart Nav B chronograph with the Valjoux 7750 movement .

A great watch, if you can find one, is the "old" Steinhart Mach1 with the ETA 2824-2 movement and DD2020 chrono module....it was very reasoably priced:

My next purchase will be on
Friday May 15. I'd already placed a "Hold"
for a 1923 Omega Pocket Watch with an interesting
piece of history. (See Below)

Movement is signed "Omega Watch Co. Swiss Made"
Serial Number 6492537
15 Jewels Adjusted in 2 (Two) Positions

White Porcelain Dial signed "OMEGA" with sunken sub-second display

Corresponding Movement Serial Number dates this watch to 1923

Case is marked inside "Alpha E in the maple leaf P.W.E. Co. Ltd. Cased in Canada 3028855."

About P.W.E Co. Ltd:

P.W. Ellis & Co. Ltd
31-37 Wellington St. E
Toronto,Ontario Canada

P.W.Ellis & Company, which was founded in 1879 and existed until 1928, when it was sold to W.N.Stock - it was one of the most successful Toronto jewellery
and silver company, a partnership of twin brothers Philip W. and Mathew C.Ellis. Their mark was an E in the maple leaf, an anchor and a lion passant.
In 1904 Gorham sued P.W.Ellis because their trade mark was very similar to the one of the American firm. P.W. Ellis also manufactured many
flatware patterns strikingly similar to Gorham patterns. The case was heard in Toronto and P.W.Ellis & Co. won

Various Ellis Watch Case Markings:

Regal
Sovereign
Banner
Alpha

Philip  W. Ellis later became the Toronto Transportation Commission Chairman from 1920 until the time of his death in 1929.

Prior to the establishment of the TTC, the City of Toronto operated their own system under the Toronto Civic Railways (TCR). However, the TCR routes were operating in areas not served by the private TRC. In 1920, a Provincial Act created the Toronto Transportation Commission (TTC) and, in 1921, the Commission took over and amalgamated nine existing fare systems within the city limits. Between 1921 and 1953, the TTC added 35 new routes in the city and extended 20 more. It also operated 23 suburban routes on a service-for-cost basis. It abandoned money-losing radial railway line (known as 'interurbans' elsewhere in the continent), North Yonge Railways.

Furthermore, I'll be picking up a 1902 Waltham
Pocketwatch on the same day.

Cheers,
Simon

I've got 2 calling to me right now. The first one is a MKII Vantage on a bracelet. I've kinda had a hankering for an Explorer style watch and feel like it's the one. The second is an Omega PO. I went into my local AD today where I'm on a first name basis with a couple of the salesmen and on a whim, and against my better judgement, I tried on a black bezel/dial in 45mm and on a speedmaster bracelet. It's a bit larger than what I prefer, but I might have to have it.

Murph...while the MKII vantage is a nice watch (and I love my MKII Stingray), $600 plus is a lot of money for the "look"...you can get a nice Zeno (Miyota 8215 powered) Explorer for about $100.  I've had mine for about 5 years and it's great.  I put it on a brown crocodile strap and it is a great look!

I got mine here (look near the bottom of the page) http://www.chronometer.net/wrist.htm

Very Nice Ken and well priced too, but I'm afraid it might be too small for me. Then again, I could get one try and if it doesn't work for me I could flip it. Good looking out Ken, Thanks.
