In my experience the Pre Geneve Models are of better quality and were at a very good price. They have just gotten the contract to be able to put the Formua 1 Logo on there products.  Which normaly means that you are going to pay a higer price for a lesser quality product.  I never saw anyone get involved in F1 and make money but a few.  Plus I have 3 Geneve JL and think that the older ones are of better quality.  I think they changed from making quality watches at a reasonable price, to a marketing machine.  For what its worth that is my take.

ShopNBC currently has 39 different JL models available: http://www.shopnbc.com/depts/prodlisting.aspx?taxid=260&pt=1&propid=230&fido=484. Their president's name is Lior Ben Shmuel (or some similar spelling), and he is generally considered to be a straight shooter. Recently, however, I've heard him veer into hyperbole country by comparing $200 watches to $5,000 watches. ("This easily could be mistaken for a $5,000 watch." Yikes.)

Dealing with ShopNBC is another subject entirely. It can be a pretty shady organization.
