I have to confess to still receiving daily emails telling me what the "top values" are on slop so I saw this. Nice looking, all the right bits. Just one thing stopped me. I would have been supporting these douche canoes by making the purchase!! BLECH! Why not wait a week when Tim P or some other flipper puts one up on a forum?

I've made my greatest deals on Ebay and never been ripped off... So, yes, I hook there to find what I want.
Shame?
You may be used to trade on WUS or other forums to get the "lowest prices": Your choice...Respect mine.
There's good deals on forums but not as good as I touched there.
I could give you many exemples as I bought 60% of my watches there: My Schaumburg 1000m Aquamatic...445buks shipped. Got it in near mint condition.
So blame the Bay...

Get an ETA 2824-2 watch for 175$ here for exemple:
http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTOMATIC-Watch-military-2824-2-swiss-ETA-25-jewels-/370460404274?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item5641292a32#ht_4227wt_1139

You don't trust the Bay? I give you a 200meters diver made by a reputable Swiss watch-maker: 278$ on sale!
http://www.westcoastime.com/olwanewk2wah.html
And the list goes on amigos...
There's a bunch of 200-300 buks watches with the 2824-2 on the market.
I've never seen the ShopNBC show otherwise than on Utube and I'm somehow glad that it don't exist in Norway...
Like this, we can get drunk without fearing the Invictator monster....

Good referral, William....but too small for my wristssubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif

The O&W is a good one and with a sterling record, from what I know. It's a good thing their logo isn't shouting. They are well-made.ThumbsUp02.gif

I get it Mark! Just defending all good guys I've been trading with, over-there: Too many thinks that the Bay is just full of crooks...
When you get to know this place, it pays back.

Hahaha. Good memory, amigo, You are so right but somehow that Milgauss was just seducing me and I had to give in.....dog smile.gif

I had a chance to buy an O&W about 7 years ago in Texas but the retailer then couldn't ship to me in time for my trip back home. I regret that a bit but I guess there's always a next time.

Damn, that OW looks great.  I'd have to get another watch box though.

I just have to chime in to thank Mark for introducing me to the term "Douche Canoe".  I will file that one away for future use... hopefully not in connection to a watch deal!subtlelaugh.gif

because of your sign of great restraint Greggor I asked myself "do I really need this watch"and canceled my order...besides douche canoe is worse than being up S**t creek without a paddle..or so I've been told...dog smile.gif

I own one in the blue dial, I picked up in the summer for just over $200.00, I don't buy from SNBC anymore, (really havn't for several years) But it looked like a pretty nice summer going out to dinner watch, so I took a chance on it.

Anyway, it is a pretty well made watch for the money, the ETA 2824-2 runs very smooth and is accurate to COSC so far. I don't like the cyclops on it, to me it just looks F-up on the dial, but other than that, no complaints

Oh also a sapphire crystal with it nice for the money, the cyclops is on the underside, so tuff to remove.

The "Invictator Monster", now that is funny. ThumbsUp02.gif Though you are missing one of the best comedies on tv by not having ShopNBC thumbsup.gif
