My wife and I have been married for 16 years this month. As a gift she wants to get me a watch; she asked me to pick out a few and she would pick one out. Her budget: $1000-1200! She said definitely not a couple of mid priced, just one in that range. So....looking for suggestions, favs, ideas. I have plenty but am always up for suggestions!

Not sure the style you want, but something from Oris, Louis Erard, Hamilton Jazzmaster series, if you shop used, you might find an Omega Seamaster, Gevril etc.

Have funhand6.gif and congrats on the anniversary:)

Stowa Pro Diver, Oris of many types, Fortis B-42 - what type of watch are you looking for?

What size? What style? For what occasions (everyday wear, casual/suit & tie)?

Here's a whole bunch of different ones to look at ...

Cheers

great suggestions canadajo!

in particular, i really like the Oris, Fortis and Stowa ideas...

i might add a used Super Ocean or Seamaster to the list..  you may also want to look into a Tag Link, though they are probably a bit more expensive.  also a Tissot would be a nice choice.
