I think this is the first time I've actually seen members dump on a watch. For a while there I was thinking I could strap on a rock and SkipDawg would tell me its kewl and ask for the URL.  |

ok, let's calm down a bit and see it for what it is. It's clearly a jewellery piece-most likely a brooch. It's seems to be more about the art then about the timepiece. The idea of hiding the watch face is cool even if the colours chosen are nauseous. It's art and not everybody has to like it but I think it could inspire another person to try similar. Maybe bring back the brooch watch for women or maybe a Lapel watch. I agree the BLING factor is way over the top but hey-not everyone has the skills to amass all those gems onto one piece of jewellery so I'll give kudos to those with the time, patience and skill to put that together. Or more simply-someone actually got paid to make that thing. Imagine what you could do with some angle iron and a mig welder?? |
