As legend has it, most retail businesses operated in the "not profitable" or "Red" arena all year. The Friday after Thanksgiving, as we all know, is the biggest shopping day of the year and the day that pushes most retailers into the profitable or "Black" arena....could be urban legend, but it sounds good.  |
