Dave...I think the lack of love here has more to do with the owner than the watch itself. I know in my particular case, there are several factors; the "heavy handedness" of the O7 Forum, the hypocrisy of their mission statement "Our guiding philosophy is simple - we have to be different to be better!" while all the time simply making "homages to other high-end watches, the ethical question deception employed when they started using the SW200 instead of the ETA 2824-2. I guess to me, it's simply the arrogance of the O7 "crowd" in the "putting down" of anyone who dared say anything negative or even broached a question that they might have had a negative connotation to it if they answered it honestly.

My understanding is that the product itself is decent and many models are appealing...although VERY reminiscent of other watches..

And ... from what I have seen you are absolutely correct. I have posted the requisite "here is my new O7" post on the O7 home forum, but other than that haven't spent much time there. IMO there are a lot of new watches that all look basically the same with this case. It does just what I bought it to do, and for the price was a pretty good deal. Nothing more, nothing less. ~ David
