Keeping a weather eye out with my Highgear Altis:

I have a gig tonight and there is nothing I hate more than driving through a snowstorm at 3am...

Cheers,
Griff

Tony that is seriously growing on me!
I'm waiting for my "tire watch" to arrive (snoop purchase) before I buy anything else though!

In the meantime I am going to give the Ti Zeno some wrist time now that it's fixed and running again!

Chris, that looks great on that NATO!  Not sure what the deal is with me and NATO...they are comfortable and practical...they look great in fotos, but somehow, when I put one on, it looks a little strange to me!

Jacque Lemans (pre-Genva) for me to start.

Devin...here's the way I understand it...a few years ago, JL, in a marketing ploy, moved their HQ to Geneve, Switzerland where the world's "premium" watches are built...Geneve built watch is supposed to be held in higher regard the "mere" Swiss" built.  Geneve is heralded as being the "Watch Capital of the World"  (don't tell the Seiko boys in Tokyo that).

At any rate, JL, upon their move to Geneve, started producing watches that were not quite up to the standards of their pre-Geneve days...thus, people will usually indicate whether their JL is a pre-Geneve build!

Ken They are so darned comfortable I've never really thought about how they looked... I supppose they might look kind of funny until they take a set around the spring bars and your wrist?
