Thanks allot guyz. ;) Yea it's a good thing this is a 3 bedroom house. LOL :D

The last time I saw a good deal I sat on the fence a moment to long and someone beat me to them. So this time as soon as I saw them did a quick check on the sellers and bang! LOL

Nice pickups, Skip. I've seen both of these at TJ Maxx and they never quite got down to a price I was willing to pay as I want to steal watches from TJ Maxx. In retrospect I wish I hadn't passed on the 2824 diver. It sure is solid and has a great strap.

The chrono version I saw was with yellow accents on a strap and was very nice. I might have thought longer if the watch was on the bracelet. How is the bracelet? I bet it kicks major arse!!

Nice set there, John... and I like the watches.toon1.gif

The bracelet isn't bad at all. But if I can find the like strap for it I'll get it to put on it. But after waiting so long I just jumped on the deal.

Wish I had access to a TJ Maxx here. There just to far and out of the way for me. I was surprised the clasp on the chrono also had a divers extension which adds to the clasp quality to me.

Daniel Mink...sounds familiar. Oh yes, now I remember about reading articles in the
International Watch Magazine Publication or was it 24 Hr Magazine?

He makes fine timepieces as a matter of fact, someone I used with--from 6 years ago, collected Daniel Mink and ChronoSwiss.

Great pair of watcheshand6.gif.

AHA!  Two VERY fine watches Skip...I have had mine for a while now...my Chrono has the rubber strap (and red accents), and while I have toyed with the idea of a Watchadoo bracelet, the Mink rubber straps are the most comfortable I've ever worn (even more so than my Oris which is saying a lot).

My diver has the blue face, but the same stainless bezel as yours (some are black like the chrono)...they are extremely comfortable, solid and handsome!

Congratulations!!!

Yes Ken the strap is very comfortable. If I can find a place that sells them I will put one on the chrono. ;)

I held out for a great deal but very much worth the list price for sure. Very well built watches. hand6.gif

You guys and these Daniel Minks...

Bad enablers! Bad!

I love the planet ocean markers, have any of you owners taken a moment to check how well aligned those are, especially across the dial to the other side?

I am going to have a weak moment one of these days and buy one!

Yea these are very well done. They are not as well known in the States but seem to have quite the following of fans in Europe. Very impresive workmanship! ;)

They look like real nice watches. I thought the red accents on your chrono really set it off. What type of price range do the Daniel Mink watches run? Also, are they all autos or a mix of auto and quartz? Are the autos swiss or asian? Or a mix of depeding on pricepoint?

Not sure what the real market is on them (Skip would probably know better) but I got both of mine (1 pre-owned, one new) in the $350 ballpark!  I believe they do make some quartz pieces, but I believe all are Swiss Made.  They are solid as a rock!

Great looking watches, both of them. I have looked at Daniel Mink watches on the auction site but was reluctant not knowing anyone who had one. There is a TJ Maxx just a few miles away from where I live, but I have never thought to look for watches. I have reason to go now.

Skip- at the rate you are going, you should be good for around 50 watches this year! Keep up the good work.

Yea if you watch the sales forums or go to TJ Maxx you can get them at a crazy low price.

Right now the average list looking at several sources in about $1200 US for the Pro Diver and about $2600 US for the Pro Diver Chrono.
