The new Omega Seamaster Professional James Bond Limited Edition!!

I traded my Planet Ocean in as a down payment with Rob Caplan at Topper Jewelers. If you've never dealt with Rob before I can't recommend him highly enough! I'm #6 on their pre-order list so I don't know exactly when I'll get the watch, but I think the wait will be worth it!

Here are some of Omega's glamor shots:

Beautiful watch Brian.  I love the shot with the old two hose regulator.

It's a beauty, but I wish Omega would stop with the "Skeleton" hands...just not my cup of tea!

I'm not a big fan of the skeleton hands either, but that IS a Beautiful watch. I have heard that you can send your Seamaster to the service center and have the hands replaced with the plongeur style, but don't know how true that is. I fortunately bought one that came with the plongeur style hands:D. Enjoy that watch when you get it Brian. It's a BeautyThumbsUp02.gif.

Nice one Brian..........not sure I would have made that trade, the PO is a sweet watch, but that one has a lot of rugged elegance to it.

Congrats andThumbsUp02.gif

Thanks guys!

I too like the regular SMP hands better than the skeleton, but the overall look of the watch overrode that..

I've owned two PO's, and love them, but I have a small wrist and the SMP is the absolute prefect size for me.

Now for the hard part...waiting!! :?

Not sure David.  I know they are beginning to show up at a few AD's, but Rob couldn't give me a solid date on when they will get their allotment.   Hopefully it will be within the next couple of weeks!!

those are sweet. I cant afford it but I have seen it. Maybe you will get lucky and get #1007, 2007 etc....That would be sweet to get a bond watch ending in 007. either way I wish I was in your position....congratulations......I will put that on my bucket list!

I was at an AD in Tucson last night and they had just received the new Bond 007.  Now, you know, I'm not much of an Omega fan, but this watch was stunning.  My only complaint is the hated skeleton hands...wish they had used SeaMaster hands!

Historically speaking, Omega watches were worn
by the British Military during WW II. So, it was
only fitting for the James Bond character that Ian
Flemming created to be wearing the Omega.

The Rolex Submariner used in the 1960's Bond films was owned by the Producer Albert R. Broccoli. However, Ian Flemming never specified what type of watch Bond had in his possession this is according to the novels, which I've read as
a teenager, in the 1980's.
