This guy arrived from Australia today (an eBay score). Kind of different, but tries to do a bit too much, dial-wise, I think. Automatic; 38 X 57 mm; nice curved case; crown at the top; leather strap, that shows some work as it has to accommodate the crown access and also match at the bottom of the case...no gaps at the ends. The left top pusher pops up an access hatch for the crown; right pusher sets day-of-week.Plum-colored face, with four subdials for day of week, 24 hr dial; month and year. Month and year set with hidden pushers. Frankly, the four subdials are too many...would have been better-looking if the year subdial (good thru 2014) had been omitted. Exhibition back. Skeleton hands are also a nice touch. Date window at eight o'clock. Not perfect, but for $50, what the heck. Jim ![]() |

Cool! Can't go wrong for the price! I really like the vertical dial. I'm not usually a tonneau guy, but I do love subdials, so I could actually see myself wearing one. :) Dan |

Quite Unusual I guess ???? As for the Avatar, not sure where I found it, but I LOVE Stan and Ollie. Can't remember how many thousand times I watched their films, but they still break me up! I believe this avatar is from the great Western spoof, "Way Out West." I feel sorry for kids who have never seen them. Jim |
