Well after admiring the various Doxa's here and elsewhere, I finally had the chance to pull the trigger on a great condition Doxa Searambler 750 at a fair price.  I really think it is a great looking watch with a pretty unique style. I had read that it is a pretty large watch and was a little scared that it might wear too large for my 7 inch wrist, but the lug to lug distance is not too big, so it feels and fits well. Either that or I am more used to larger watches since I have been wearing my Sinn U1 pretty often since I received it. I am glad I got a 750 and not the newer 1000 model. I can definitely see why this watch brand is so popular. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they are worth $2000 which is about what new ones are going for, but if you can pick up a preowned one in $1200-$1400 range then I think they are a worthwhile consideration.
  Here are a few pics:

Congratulations on the Searambler, Len. I really think its the classiest of the dials Doxa offers and makes for a very handsome watch. Enjoy!!

Congrats, and beautiful watch. My Sub750T is my favorite watch. Glad I got mine new when they were still reasonably priced. Now you need to snag you an orange one ;)

Great pick-up. I want one of those really bad. I love my Orange 750T. Great pictures some of the best I've seen of the Searambler.

Thanks for all the nice comments.  I really like the unique case design and the bracelet.  It doesn't look like every other diver, which is pretty nice (imho).
Steve, maybe you are right and I will have to pick up an orange 750T at some time in the future. It is the color that defines Doxa:)
Also, thanks for the nice comments about my pics.  I am proof that even a so-so photographer can get lucky sometimes.:D
