Ive been on the look out for a PVD/DLC timepiece for awhile. there are plenty of options out there.. or maybe even a custom mod job. The AGP was definitely on the shortlist (the DLC finish is sweet! and i can potentialy use it to sharpen my ktichen knives :)) however the 2533 style dial and the left hand wind wasnt doing it for me. So one afternoon i shoot off an email to Anders with a few ideas. What started out as a "general enquiry" soon turned into a little project. A few emails later, a deal was struck and here is the finished product. Again, a million thanks to Anders for being very accomodating. Here are some quick snaps. Let me know what you guys think. This is my first post I think although I've been a member for quite a while - I've really enjoyed this forum. I've been a customer of Anders' for a few years now but have only just ordered my first Dievas, a Vortex (resistance is/was futile). I hope to have it some time in February. Thanks for all the great pics and discussion on this watch, it has been very valuable. In any event, the AGP caught my eye a while ago and I should have snapped one up while available. Anders has offered me the 3646 in the AGP case, which sounds like the very same watch being discussed in this thread. I was wondering whether Jose or anyone else might be able to re-post some photos of the watch and/or direct me to some. I realize this thread was started some time ago, the original links to photos are apparently broken. Anders said he did not have any photos to share. I have a pretty good idea of how this watch would look, of course, but would still be grateful to see one in action. Hopefully I'll have something of my own to contribute in future! many thanks, Doug Last edited on Fri Jan 15th, 2010 09:30 am by Pharyngula |
