Let's all get it together and wish Skipdawg the happiest of birthdays. The Dawg and I share a birthday today. I'm not sure which of us is the older, but I am betting it is me. So fess up, John, how old is ya'??

The way the Dawg buys watches you would think every day is his birthday!! All the best to you, Skipdawg, my birthday brother!!

LOL :D Thank you very much Pax. ;) I do try to make every day a Birthday, Christmas and Thanksgiving all rolled into one. Life is just to short. Enjoy it while you can.

Mark may your day be a blessed and happy one too my friend. You beat me to the punch. This year.

As for age well lets see that could be a problem. I was not able to read at birth and could not tell what the calander said. Maybe around 29 plus some.:P

I'm with you Dawg. Like my son says we will have "days of celebration!" Going to a party this afternoon with my hospital crew. I insisted the party shouldn't be for my birthday and they insisted right back. So, I told them to all pitch in a couple bucks and get me a watch. Then I told them all to pitch a c-note and make it worth my time. I am certain they got me something watch related. I am just as certain it will be one of the all time gag gifts.

BTW, we're eating side pork, tripe and the other grillables. I'm not sure what side pork is, and I've only heard things about tripe... Anyone know what I am in for? The party in in Brussels which is a deeply Belgian community here on the Door Penninsula.

Glad to see you survived phase one of the DAZE OF CELEBRATION!!

Actually I'm not so sure I should go there... I have a pretty good idea of what it is!! No worries, I 'll be having a colonscopy soon and that should cleanout any nasty remnants.

Thanks 3T for a ll the kind words!! I had a great time yesterday afternoon and evening with a great party with my work associates. I misspoke when I said we were eating Tripe... turned out to be tripp and side pork.

Tripp is a cabbage infused bratwurst which is quite pungent and will clean you out good. Delicious!!

Side pork is a thick slab of bacon like yumminess. There were 15 pounds of this grilled over the fire yesterday. Very little survived.

Best of all was the gag pulled on me being the birthday boy. I wa called into the house suddenly to find all my friends lines up and presenting me with my gifts which included of large poster of "Delilah." "Delilah" is a marginally insane patient at the hospital I work at. She is famous for coming to the cafe to eat both breakfast and lunch. Even better, she has a specific booth she sits in... if you are in it she will stand next to the booth and wait until you are done eating. She did this to me once and really got in my space. Well, my colleagues never forgot it!! They knew I wanted a watch so check out the cake!! Pretty involved in that they actually took a photo of this beauty and voted on the caption for the cake. also included were personalized stickers with an obscene message and some memo paper for my desk. What a crazy bunch!!

I couldn't ask for any more in a b-day except for a Packers' victory today!!
