Thought I'd better do the done thing and introduce myself properly. Hi, my name is Gary and I'm a watch addict. I've been collecting watches for about 4 years now and currently have about 50, (I'm afraid to count 'em all). I have no theme and seemingly no control over my daft impulses, although a fair few on my collection are Omega's. I'm based in Bristol in the UK and I am old enough to know better ;). I'll reveal my collection in a drip feed fashion as I have a few, hope this is OK. I'll start with what I've been wearing so far today. Was wearing this until I got up:  Had a quick (2hr!) coffee with my WIS mate Alistair, so wore this to annoy him (he's anti quartz, tee hee!) I don't think he even noticed though:  Changed to this as I haven't worn it for ages:  My first post here concerned this so it's now on my wrist:  Hope this is an OK intro and I look forward chatting to you guys, Cheers, Gary :) |

Thanks for the welcome guys, much appreciated . Out of interest is there a favourite type of watch that unites you all? Judging from the forum masthead I'd presume you all like modern divers. Is this the case or am I being too literal (again). Today I've been mainly wearing this:  Oh, and if anyone wants to know more about my watches just yell, although you run the risk of me boring ther pants off you ;) :D. Cheers, Gary |

Welcome Gary and nice pictures! To answer your question I don't think there's a specific watch that draws us all to 3T (although dive watches do seem common). I think we all just love a good looking watch (same as you). I'm doubley bad myself because if I've started buying numerous watches for my wife as well as myself. Now she needs another watch box to house them all as well! I really need to stick to a budget Welcome again! |
