Reminds me of the LM-6.  The lugs are different on the LM-6.  Steve cant wait to see it.

I'll bet Mitch is really po'd that someone copied one of his "original" designs! subtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif

I am ready to pull the trigger on this Korsbek.  Does anybody have any input on what would be close to compare, what about "KENZO'S".  I don't know Poul, but Steve (srh-pres) says he is a stand up guy and I see Oscar is ordering one and there current posts are convincing, but....hm..yes I have read the specs eta 2824 mov-work horse, 44mm bezel, 24mm lug, and fricker case.  i like the dial, hands, black face, where the date is, the crown is cool.

Kenzo has a fricker case, but his lugs swoop down.  The Korsbek come straight (raw) down.  I like both.  The bottom line if this tank is going resemble the kenzo, then ya buddy I'm pumped, because Kenzo is a beast.  For the price $850.00 with the bracelet "WOW".  My question is the Kenzo the one to look at to get an idea?

I don't think Dave would mind I use his pixs, since his pixs are always awesome.  Thanks Dave.

2 different watches Teddy....Fricker is a watch contractor that can buildcomplete watches or just cases for many manufacturers/brands and have many case designs ie: Sinn,Tutima,Hanhart,MarcelloC,Glycine,Oris,Timefactors, and the list goes on  hand6.gif

Fricker's German quality is known throughout the industry so the Korsbeck should be a winner just on that note....after these first 100 are sold the price is going up according to Poul ...so if anyone is on the fence they better get off cause once these are gone the $850. price is toowatch2.gif

Well Steve Poul just sent me a e-mail, I got #14.  You know Steve thanks for the info on Poul and what Korsbek could be,  I apprectiate the info you gave me, which  weighed heavy in my descision.  Thank You Oscar too, your comments sealed the deal for me, or maybe it was the wine I drank..hehe...subtlelaugh.gif

I did not get to watch the USC game today, because me and my son been trimming and cutting on one of our trees today.  Ya there's my cardio today.  I needed some Robert Mondavi (cabernet sanvignon) to relax, was on that about 7 hours.

  • 44mm x 17.6mm
  • ETA 2824
  • 1500m wr (tested)
  • flush mount HRV
  • 24mm lugs
  • domed AR coated crystal
  • Swiss made
for a very reasonable price, imho.  Will be shipped in April/May 2008 (limited run of 100, I have #47).

It may bear a slight resemblance to the LM-6, but thats where the differences end.  The LM-6 costs more overall (when you factor in the bracelet which Ocean7 annoyingly charges extra for even though it probably costs $10 to manufacture) - I like O7 but the Korsbek is at a great price point and is the smarter buy here (esp considering its German made by Fricker, which if it matches my Kenzo, will be a great buy indeed).
