I have been enjoying my Benarus Barracuda and finally, my SNOON arrived via FedEX today!woohoo.gif It is everything I had hoped it would be in terms of quality and build. It is a little slimmer than I would have expected; however, it is powered by a Swiss Rhonda Quartz Movement so that maybe how it can achieve such a thin dimension. I am extremely happy with the PVD black color...it is truely a flat black....no grey here!! This puppy really glows! It utilizes H3 Tritiumlight Tubes / mb microtec illumination that is made in switzerland. It is the first watch that I have seen that combines Tritiumlight Tubes with super luminova on the dial and hands. The combination really makes for a good show at night!! It really goes beyond the Traser Automatic Pro Blue that I once owned...IMO it is a nicer fit, size and the lume is simply better! Here are the specs: Case: brushed stainless steel, black PVD coated Size: 47mm / high 13mm Bottom:black PVD coated stainless steel, screwed Crown: black PVD coated, screwed Waterresistance: to 20 atm/ 200 meters Crystal: sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating Movement: Swiss Made Watchstrap: Black Silicone -Strap, 22mm Bezel: unidirectional racheting black PVD coated stainless steel, with bright traser "dot" encased in steel housing and protected by sapphire window Pointer: 3-way (h/min/sec). The Orange FrankenMonster with the Snoon Streetfighter, Lume shot....the Fraken Simply Glows handsdown the best in its class!! I have the matching PVD SS Bracelet enroute to switch out the silicone strap with. I will say that I was really suprised with the softness and high quality of the silicone strap..of all the watches that I have purchased, it is the softest of them all! I will also have to get the orange Nato band to wear with the Streetfighter as well...makes a good changeup IMO. Hope everyone enjoyed the pics, Tim. |

The Matching PVD SS Bracelet arrived today...Tonight the Snoon goes all PVD!! I can't beleive that I have now worn the same watch for 3 days in a row!!! Have not done that in over a year!! Pics to follow. |
