I...uh...have been going over my Zippo collection to see what would bring in some $ for a Seiko Marinemaster... Uh-oh...:shock: If the day comes that I look to sell my drums for watches is the day I have to hang it up. They make me money yourock.gif Cheers, Griff

He'll notice!!coyote2.gif I had a set of Fibes drums back in the 80's my Pops got rid of. He did give me the cash though!! Anybody remember the Fibes? Wicked fiberglass drums that really snapped. I had the snare on my primary kit (Premier) and that was one deep dish snap-a-roo!!

CUZ ...I miss seein ya blast away on the drums ...you were good .... nomatter what your humbleness would say ..... When a band can say they opened up for the Replacements in the 80's ....well thats just impressive !!!!

My younger son is now taking drums at school. He came home with a Yamaha student snare, pretty nice for a beginner drum. I'll never understand why they start them off with big sticks though (5B). I have used 5A my entire time - 28 years now, and I have played everything from metal to punk to pop to country. Never had a problem with a smaller stick. You opened for the Replacements!?!? While I didn't sell it to buy a watch or any watches my Jeep which was my other hobby suffered dearly from watches. I buy a watch, no lockers, I buy another watch, there went the axle re-gear, another watch and there is another 6 month wait for a new lift. I haven't drove it much at all and am enjoying my new Durango way too much so off it went. I put it up for sale on an Internet Jeep sales forum at a ridiculously high price (just like you see many watches listed such as old Doxa's) a couple weeks ago and sold it before I even saw the email confirming my post to the site. I think it was less than 10 minutes. Someone living about 15 miles from me was online when I posted it and bought it on the spot. I will have another one though. I have never went over 6 months Jeep-less since I got my first in 1976.
